History of the organization: created on November, 10 1996 registered on February, 14 2001

Main directions: monitoring of forest resources exploitation in the Republic of

Karelia and North-West Russia promoting preservation of valuable forest of the Republic of

Karelia development of methods providing sustainable forestry and

biodiversity preservation of the Republic of Karelia and North-West Russia

forming careful attitude to forest and its rational exploitation ecological education of the population
