More to see...There’s loads to see and do in the museum. The beautifully restored Window on the World gallery has been reopened and you can marvel at the three thousand year old Egyptian coffin of priest Paikhmennu, as well as items from our award-winning Mr Smithies and the Lost Tombs of Peru exhibition.

There’s also the new Window on Warrington galleries, which tell the unique story of how our town has developed through the centuries. New exhibits include a tribute to the Charge of the Light Brigade heroes and the history of the Tayleur ship, Warrington’s Titanic. Elsewhere, don’t forget to visit the restored and enhanced Fish Gallery and also the new WREN Gallery for Contemporary Art and Crafts, a much-needed space to showcase the work of local artists.
