I have enjoyed meeting with you in the Curriculum Coffees - I hope you have found them to be helpful and informative. We begin the great holiday season with Halloween, followed closely by Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. It is such a privilege to share the holidays with the children - to glimpse and remember their absolute wonder and glee in things seen and heard for the first time. We do our best to keep the holidays pretty low key since the children’s sense of time isn’t well developed yet - especially for the PMO, 2 year olds, and 3 year olds. The 4 and 5 year olds celebration of this holiday season is a bit more ramped up with the Thanksgiving Service on Friday, November 19 th at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, and the Christmas Nativity and Party on Friday, December 17 th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please mark your calendars for these wonderful events! I have a couple of administrative things: Please do not turn off your cell phone while your child is at DPCC. We will only call you if it is necessary and if we do call you, we really need for you to take the call. My Yahoo email account is closed. If you need to email me, please use my church address [email protected] or my gmail account [email protected]. Please remember to phone in any last minute Lunch Bunch request, please do not email these requests. Thank you for your involvement and participation in the life of DPCC - your gifts of time and talent are so dear and valuable to your child’s experience here. -Ellen Upcoming Events Annual auction: SAVE THE DATE – Friday, March 4 th .
