waterfront land-use plan. . .

A weatherization training class held in the Bronx by Seedco prepares residents for green construction jobs.

Lola G. Hanna Fund

Primary Care Development Corporation has helped City community health centers, such as the Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health

Center, apply for and win millions in federal dollars to expand facilities. Mary Warfield Fund

Public Health Solutions is providing affordable reproductive health care to low-income black and Latina young women.

Mildred Anna Williams Fund

Teenagers, trained by VISIONS, help visually impaired seniors learn and enjoy life. David Warfield Fund

Unemployed and low-income job seekers take a free class in high-speed cable installation offered by the Fifth Avenue Committee, which has

already placed 2,500 Brooklynites in jobs. Rembrandt Fund

Through the Citizen’s Committee for New York City’s “Love Your NYC Block” competition, community groups are getting help from the

Drexel Burnham Lambert Fund

Six young sculptors received fellowships from Socrates Sculpture Park,which were made possible through the Edward and Sally Van Lier Fund

in The Trust.

Common Ground, which houses hundreds of homeless in the Prince George Hotel, used a Trust grant to hire teens aging out of foster care

and in jeopardy of being homeless. . .

. . .to learn woodworking, decorative plaster and painting, and flooring with Alpha Workshops, another Trust grantee.

Abraham B. and Sarah Frank Fund and Lucy Wortham James Memorial

One teen said, “I think the ballroom will look really nice. People will be impressed. They see my du-rag and my baggy jeans and they think that

appearance says a lot about me. . .

. . .I want them to know there’s a lot more beyond appearance.”
