AMERICAN TRADERS TABLESWe have made 100’s of coffee tables that grace the living rooms of log homes, lodges and cabins all over the country. All these tables are made by the same craftsmen that make our full size canoes. Each coffee table is constructed using the same traditional methods as the full size canoe, but made over scaled down construction forms.

Every table i s m a d e individually and is uniquely defined by the variations in color and texture of the cedar used for planking. The tables are all completed with miniature seats & trim, glass tops and finished with marine spar varnish to give them a long lasting and authentic look. Coffee table stands are shipped knock-down. CLASSIC WINDSOR CHAIRSThese fine Windsor chairs are hand crafted by Bijan Fard in Vermont. An elegant and understated rendition of this traditional chair is constructed from local wood species: oak, pine, ash, birch and sugar maple. All stock is hand riven, (split along the grain for maximum strength) and the surfaces are hand tooled leaving the subtle marks of the Craftsman. FISH BOB FOLK FISHHand carved and painted in New York by Fish Bob. This fish folk artist, has since his youth always had fish and fishing on his mind. But, not until 10 years ago did he ply his carving skills to wood. These fish creations are the most unique fish carvings we have seen. Large Hanging, Table Top and Small display fish in all varieties of Trout, Salmon, Bass, Pike, Musky and Walleye. With steam bent ash slats and maple cross pieces and nosings these toboggans are hand-built like the great American classics from a hundred years ago.

Constructed from FSC certified wood, harvested locally in Vermont and finished with non VOC coatings these toboggans are as green as we can make them.

The front curve of the toboggan is a generous 10” round allowing good protection for the first riders feet. The center and edge runners are 7/16” thick, providing extra strength and faster running.
