A Word from the Principal

Terry Tryon

Another year at Adventist Union School has come and gone. What a privilege it is to be a part of the family of AUS!

One thing I’ve learned during many years of being a teacher and/or principal - every school year is unique unto itself. The staff, the parents, the students, the events happening in our world and the way God works among us all come together to create a unique experience that has never happened before and will never happen again. That’s part of what makes each school year so special.

This year has been no different. Yes, we’ve faced some difficult situations. Yes, we’ve had some fun and good times too. Yes, the student’s have struggled to learn and grow - and so have the staff.

One of the most important things we’ve learned this year is - AUS is God’s school. God has entrusted us with a period of time to lead the children and help them grow - both spiritually and academically. But through it all, God is leading. God is in charge. We are doing our best to listen to his leading and prompting.

Whether you are back at AUS next year, or you continue your journey somewhere else - remember that important lesson. God is leading. Do your best to follow His guidance. If you do that, everything will work out. God will

not foresake you.

May God bless you!

We were laughing so hard.
