It was written and designed by Mike Hirschman, Sports Information Director using Adobe CS 2 (InDesign & Photo- shop). Editorial assistance by Meghan Gannon, Colleen O’Connell and others. Photography by WG Sports Photos, SoCon Photos, UNCG University Relations, John Bell and others. Special thanks to SID staff members past and present for their contribution to this publication. Printing by Franklin Graphics, Nashville, TN. (Josh Ambrose and staff, a big thanks!) NO HYPHEN, PLEASE The UNC Greensboro SID office asks members of the media to not put a hyphen in our school’s name. While at one time all of the schools in the UNC system included a hyphen in their names (i.e. UNC-Wilmington, UNC-Asheville), that standard changed several years ago to not in- clude a hyphen (i.e. UNC Greensboro). On first reference, we prefer that you use UNC Greensboro. On second reference, how- ever, UNCG is perfectly acceptable (not UNC-G as was used in the old days). Thanks for your cooperation. UNCG coach Lynne Agee thought she’d seen a lot in her illustrious ca-reer.
And so the Spartans embark on a new campaign with eight players re-turningfromayearago,includingBoone.WhiletheSpartansgraduatedfourstarters from last year’s 7-24 squad, Agee likes what she has seen in theearlygoingfromthisyear’sclub.
Agee should know chemistry when she sees it. This will be her3st season as a college coach, the 28th at UNCG. Last season’s7-24 mark was just her second losing season ever.
