10 | NATAnews | JANUARY 2015 The NATA Salary Survey is conducted every three years with the goal of providing NATA members with the data they need in negotiating with current and prospective employers. The 2014 survey was conducted this November and nearly 7,000 members responded. The national average salary for full-time positions in 2014 was $55,036. The following figures represent full-time positions only and do not include bonuses or benefits. SALARY SURVEY 20 14 SALARY BY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE The average entry-level salary for ATs increased from $34,623 to $38,214. The overall average salary for members in the career starter category was $37,783. Young professionals with 1-5 years of experience had the largest increase in salary over the past three years, an improvement of more than 12 percent.
