In addition to that our Franchisee Ross Oakhill won the Sales Manager of the Year 2013. As you would be aware in 2012, Julia Hahn our Trading Manager won the Trade Co-Ordinator of the Year. Latest news in growth corridor: Bunnings Springfield Approved
Bunnings Warehouse has been given approval for a new store on a prime site in Springfield Central which follows recent council approval of stages two and three of Orion Springfield Central which included new cinemas, Target and a Coles supermarket.
Coming in at nearly 16,000sqm, the new Bunnings will be one of the largest retail developments in Springfield Central. The site of the new warehouse is bordered by the Centenary Highway, Southern Cross Circuit, Main Street and Sinnathamby Boulevard.
The new store will include a retail warehouse, timber and trade supplies, garden centre, on-site cafe and a charitable fundraising and community service barbecue area.
Ipswich's population is expected to more than double in the next 20 years, and the suburbs of Springfield Lakes, Springfield Central, Brookwater, Augustine Heights and Spring Mountain will play a key role in accommodating new residents. This latest
development by Bunnings is vote of confidence in the future of Ipswich and provides real choice for consumers in the hardware and home improvement retail sector.
