• The container can be entered for inspection• But always carry a switched on P.I.D.- meter

• Results:– No indication on the tubes of phosphine, but <10 ppm P.I.D.
• 30 minutes ventilation at least• Approaching container with switched on P.I.D.-meter• Inspection is possible of the first row• Use personal means of protection

Checking “normal” containers 3
• Results– > 10 ppm indication on P.I.D.-meter
• The container is blocked• A sample of the atmosphere is taken• The sample is analyzed• The container is degassed by specilized company• After cleaning the container can be inspected• But with the use of a switched on P.I.D.-meter

• Air sample:– > 10 ppm in atmosphere of container
– < 10 ppm but specific circumstances• E.g. class 6.1 P.G I• Pesticide in container
