to prepare for upload of the software design;

harmonization

a seconded staff was employed for three months in December-March 2009;

compendium has been set up; statistical tables updated; need for extension of secondment to

prepare the draft study on a harmonized statistical methodology.

ECONOMIC RESEARCH

1st MLERI has been convened (1-2 March 2010, Tehran);

Workshop on Implications of Global Economic Crisis in ECO countries (15 February 2010, Antalya);

Editorial Board has been set up; 1st issue of ECO Economic Journal

issued.

ECO PROJECT MONITORING

1st Meeting of ECO PMG (project monitoring group) conducted by PERS in December 2009;

Functional Methodology revised; Guidelines for ECO projects issued; Workshop on PRINCE-2 conducted, February

2010; Teleconferencing session with UNOPD was

scheduled for 13 May 2010; Project updates will be issued by end June

2010 and December 2010.
