Group le.tt buncher on course one Ddnute early. Route to control point ::/1-1 was as briefed with the group falling in behind 94th "A" in Wing colwan, between points "B" and "D". 1he coast was departed scaewha. t north of course as 94:th "B" was !bllowing the Division leader.

a. Flight ~ Targets
As briefed.._ th out incident. limes at cc:atrol point #2 and IP were correct and course was as brleted. A tew minutes before the IP "Buckeye Blue" reported target conditions as visual. Squadrons unooftrecl and prepared to baab in trail.
b. BOI!lbing Runaa
94th "B" GrouE_ bombed the 4f 1 priority target, Tisually, with ex .. cellent results. lhe cloud cover was about l-2jl0ths all the way, with conliderable haze present restricting viaibili ty BOII81fhat. ihe lead squadron made the IP good and started the banb run with the GH operator setting the bombardier stra1!;ht an course. About 16 miles away the bo ibt.rdier pioked up the Aircrame t.nda.de a good I minute visual bomb run. The pre-set da.ta was very close to the tinal dat& used so only lllll8.ll correstions in rate were necessary and none had to be made in course. BOIIlbs were salvoed by the leader and dropped w1 th a 160' inter'ftlometer setting by all others in the squadron.
The High and LGw squadrons were told at the lP to bomb viaually t.nd ia trail. 1'h.ey un•overed and made individual bomb rune ot a pproxim.a te1y 2 ainutes in length. Both had excellent results. 1he11ro squadron leaders salvoed; all others in the l01r and high squadrons used a 100 1 1nternlometer setting. lfo AFCE equipment malfunctions were reported throughout the entire group.

As briefed without incident except that 94:th "B" preoeded,94: th ".A.• which had bombed Warther to the East. Course and altitude Wt.S a1 brie.ted. Letd01m was ... de over channel. .
