1. SCOPE This specification describes the physical, functional and electrical characteristics of the 30watts, single
output +12V/2.5A, switching power supply. 2. INPUT CHARACTERISTICS
2.1. Input Voltage Input voltage range : 200Vac~240Vac ± 10%Vrms.
2.2. Input Frequency
Input frequency range : 47~53Hz.
2.3. Input current Input current should be lower than 0.5Arms under full-load and 200Vac input voltage conditions.
2.4. Inrush Current
Inrush current should be lower than 60A @ 1st half cycle of 240Vac input & cold start.
2.5. Power Consumption Input power saving should be lower than 0.075 Watts under No-load and 230Vac input voltage conditions. It
would conform to “Final COC Version5.0 Tier 2”.
2.6. Efficiency +12V output current 2.5A/1.875A/1.25A/0.625A respectively at 230Vac input voltage, the average efficiency
should be greater than 87.7%, after burning in 0.5 hour at full load. It would conform to new Final COC Version 5.0 Tier 2.

3.2. Output Protection :
3.2.1. Short Circuit Protection: No damage to this power supply when output is shorted to GND, Auto-recovery mode. No damage in power supply when output is shorted to GND
3.2.2. Over Current Protection: Power supply shall shutdown before output current reached 5A Max. @ 180Vac or 264Vac input. Auto-recovery mode.
3.2.3. Over Voltage Protection: The power supply shall shut down against over-voltage caused by fault conditions, the output voltage shall not exceed 20Vdc Max. @ Load = 0.04A.
3.2.4. Brown-out Protection: Power supply shall clean ON/OFF and OFF/ON transition with no oscillations or perturbations during brown-out test. No damage and meet spec after test.
