A meeting of the Federal Reserve Board was held in the

Minutes of the meeting of the Board held April 5th were

re ad and on motion appioved.

The Governor reported the reserve positions of the sever-

al Federal Reserve banks as at close of business April 4th, and.

the status of rediscounts between the Federal Reserve barks as

Draft of letter dated April 6th, prepared for the signa-

Governor Harding stated that a vacancy existed in the

membership of the Law Committee, and upon motion, Mr. Crissinger

Was elected a member of the Law Committee of the Federal Reserve

Board.

Letter dated April 5th from the Railway Loan Advisory

Committee of the Federal Reserve Board, requesting approval of a

form of loan, in the amount of / 106,000, to be Trade to tie Virginia

Blue Ridge Railway Company, under the provisions of Section 210 of

the Transportation Act, 1920, as amended.

Letter dated April 5th, from Mr. John Skelton WI U lams,

addressed to the Secretary of the Board, requesting tranmission

Of certain informat ion set forth in Mr. Williams' letter of March

30th,

Upon motion, the Secretary was directed toadvise Mr. Williams and 1:_r. D. C. Wills that thestenographic minutes of the Board's meetings heldFebrtury 28th ani March 2, 1921, having been com-pleted and certified to by the official reporter,a meeting of the Board will be held on Saturday,April 9th, at 10 a.m. in the Board Room, for thepurpose of hearing these minutes read and makincrfinal disposition of them. Also, that in accord-ance with the understanding that former membersof the Board, who were members at the time themeetings, reported_ stenographically, were held, begiven "the same privileges with respect to the sten-ographic minutes" as the present members of theBoard, that 17r. Williams and 1:r. Wills be notifiedby the Secretary of this action in order that theymay, if they desire, be present at the reading ofthe minutes referred to.
