Bundles have to be lifted with forklifts or crane by 2 slings from thecentre of the bundles, having a minimum distance between the twoslings (the lifting points) of 2,2 m, this means to have the lifting pointsat 1,4 m from each end.As normal bundle weight range is between 500 and 1.000 kg it isrecommended not to lift more than 2 bundles at once.It is anyway preferable to handle one bundle per time.

Bundles should be stored horizontally on wooden battens, placed foreach level of bundles, at the same distance from the ends. This is important to prevent any permanent deformation of guide railsand loss of linearity properties of the guide rails. The battens distance from bundle ends depend on package solutionadopted.
