It has certainly been another busy week at school. Yesterday while the school was out at the Melbourne Museum, I have been attending our Regional Principals Conference in the City. The conference was held over Wednesday and Thursday and provides an opportunity for Principals around the state to participate in a number of workshops conducted by both international and local educators. I look forward to sharing my reflections with you next week. Lightening Premiership Last Thursday a small group of students headed off to Geelong to represent Moorabool B in our Annual Lightening Premiership competition. It certainly was an exciting day, as both the football and netball teams came away with a win! Congratulations to all our players, and big thanks to Miss Pritchard for coaching the girl’s netball team. Breakfast Club Tomorrow we are planning to run our second breakfast club event. The breakfast club will be serving food from 8:20am until 9:00am. We are hoping that this will be as successful as the event held last term. OHSC Casual Position We have recently starting advertising on SEEK for additional staff to assist on a casual basis in the Out of School Care Program. Applicants need to either have a certificate 3 qualification, a diploma or currently be enrolled as a 3 rd year student in a Bachelor of Education course to be considered. If you know of anyone who would be interested in this role, please ask them to make contact with the school. Before School Care Survey We are currently looking at the possibility of offering a before school care program next term. To gauge the level of interest around this, I would like to invite you to complete a survey by using the following link: https://bit.ly/2stNm1v

On Wednesday everyone went to the Melbourne Museum. It was an amazing experience looking at animals and learning about Melbourne. The 5/6s did a lesson on the history of Melbourne.
