General InformationRegistration and InformationThe conference registration and information desk will be set up in the foyer (ground floor) of the EUROGRESS on Sunday from 10:00h to 18:30h as well as on Monday and Tuesday morning prior to the conference start from 8:00h to 8:30h. Registration will also be possible during the normal conference day hours (8:30h to18:30h). If you require any general information concerning the organisational issues such as registration, transportation, conference outing, etc. please ask at the information desk.
Conference SecretaryIf you have questions concerning publication, satellite meetings or you require computer support, please contact the conference secretary which is located on the left hand side of the main entrance.
Speakers Information (Keynote, Plenary, Invited and Oral presentations)All talks must be held in electronic format (CD or USB) in Power Point or Adobe pdf format. Speakers must use the EUROGRESS conference computer for giving their presentations. The talks must be loaded onto the speaker ready computer located in the conference secretary the day before the talk is given. Computers are present for uploading and checking whether the talk displays correctly as well as to acquaint yourself with the electronics in the lecture hall. There is no possibility to use your own laptop for presentations at the conference. Presentations of Monday need to be uploaded as early as possible but must at latest be transferred during the session break prior to the individual session.
Poster Presenter InformationThe poster boards in each poster session are numbered. Please display the poster in the morning of your poster session at the corresponding position. Material for fixation will be provided. Please stay at your poster for at least one hour. If your poster has an even number, be there for the first half, if it has an odd number, be there for the second half of the poster session. Please remove the poster after the session. The posters should not overcome the size of 1×1,5 square meters, portrait format. We’d recommend a poster size of A0 size in portrait format (841mm width x 1189mm height
Poster Award There will be a poster award for each poster session. All conference participants are invited to give their vote for the best poster during the poster sessions. Voting ballots for each session will be distributed during the registration process at the information desk. The ballot box will be positioned at the entrance to the poster hall.
Computer AccessComputers for general usage are set up in the computer room located on the first floor (room K3, see floor plan) and are equipped with office programs such as Word and Excel. Web browsers and Internet access are available as well as a local printer. Access to the computers will be possible to participants during the conference hours. Note that WLAN access for laptops is available everywhere in the EUROGRESS apart from the lecture halls.
PublicationThe proceedings of ICFRM-17 will be published in the new online journal Nuclear Materials & Energy. This journal is the first full open access journal in the field of materials for fusion and fission applications. In addition to full open access (immediately and unlimited) permanently free of charge (CC-BY)). The same rigorous refereeing as usual applies also to these proceedings: All papers are reviewed by at least two referees. The editorial procedure for the publication of the conference proceedings will be handled by the online system of the Elsevier publishing house. The manuscript submission started on the 5th of October and continues until the 30th of October 2015.
LunchesLunches from Monday to Thursday are included in the conference fee for all participants. Lunches will be served on the first floor of the EUROGESS in room K1 and K2 (see floor plan).
Visit to the Forschungszentrum JülichThere is the possibility to visit the Forschungszentrum Jülich after the closing session on Friday (starting at 13:00 h to 16:30h). The number of participants is limited and we kindly ask for registration at the registration desk till Thursday afternoon 15:00h.

Conference DinnerOn Thursday 15 October at 19:30h the ICFRM-17 conference dinner will take place 30 meters below the surface in La Caverne de Geulhem. La Caverne de Geulhem is an ancient underground limestone quarry in the South Limburg Hills. Shuttle buses will take you to the dinner location after the Maastricht excursion or directly from the Eurogress (in case you do not join one of the excursions).

Excursions to MaastrichtYou find the information about your booked excursion in your conference bag and on our information board next to the registration desk. The buses to Maastricht (The Netherlands) will leave from the EUROGRESS on Thursday afternoon 16:30h immediately after Poster Session 4 (please pay attention to the excursion signs when boarding the bus). For the excursions 1, 2, 4 and 5 (City Walk, Beer Brewery De Keyzer, Fortress Walk/Waldeck Bastion and Maastrichtse Highlights Tour) buses will take you first to the boarding and alighting coach stop on the Maasboulevard. From there you can walk to the meeting point of each excursion. The general meeting point for the excursions City Fortress Walk/Waldeck Bastion and Maastrichtse Highlights Tour is the Hotel StayOkay, Maasboulevard 101 and it is reachable within a walking distance of 3 minutes. If you visit the Beer Brewery De Keyzer, please follow the way marked in the map and you will reach the brewery (Museum Stoombierbrouwerij de Keyzer, Wycker
