“At the moment of elevation, here is the Lord bending down to us, opening his arms to us,
embracing us, incorporating us in the offering of his life to his Father, to our Father, for the greater glory
of God and the salvation of the world.” Pierre-Marie Dumont. From the 2021 MAGNIFICAT Holy Week issue. Copyright MAGNIFICAT-Used with permission. www.magnificat.com

A Reflection for the Third Sunday of Easter The risen Christ stands in our midst and asks, “Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself.” This is the Lord’s commandment to us. “The way we may be sure that we know him is to keep his commandments.” When we are in distress, we beg with the Psalmist, “Let the light of your countenance shine upon us!” God has answered that prayer, for “God raised the author of life from the dead.” The Lord will hear and have pity. “Touch and see.”

Adoration of the Holy Eucharist The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed Sunday, and Wednesday through Friday between the hours of 3pm and 5 pm. There will be no ritual Exposition and Benediction, but the Blessed Sacrament will be simply exposed during those hours. This is simply time and space for individuals to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. These are opportunities for individuals to pray with the Lord, to listen to the Lord, or simply come to offer a
prayer or a rosary. Again, these are individual opportunities for prayer at the church. Of course, we are all encouraged to pray no matter where we are. Our Lady of Victory, pray for us!

Your donation to the Catholic Appeal supports the many ministries that help us live our faith together and make our Church stronger. Please help St. Mary's reach our parish goal this year of $108,345. As of April 5, we are halfway there at $54,321. There are many ways to give to this important endeavor including donating online (https://bostoncatholicappeal.org/ways-to-give/), mailing a check to The Archdiocese of Boston, Catholic Appeal, PO Box 9134, Canton, MA 02021, or by mailing/dropping off a check to the parish office. Please ensure you clearly mark on your donation that you are a member of St. Mary-Winchester so that the parish receives credit towards our goal. As always, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Offertory – Online Giving Due to bulletin publishing deadlines, the offertory update was not available at the publishing time for this bulletin.
ONLINE GIVING remains the quickest and most effective way to accomplish your offertory giving. You can still MAIL your envelopes or checks to the Parish Office. For those attending daily adoration or quiet prayer in the Lower Church, there is a secure offertory box located outside the doors in the Gathering Room for those who wish to drop off their envelopes or donations (3pm-5pm).

Best Wishes to LeiLanie D’Agostino LeiLanie D’Agostino, our Pastoral Care Coordinator, is departing St. Mary’s. LeiLanie moved at the start of COVID last year to North Carolina and stayed on working remotely. We thank LeiLanie for all her work at St. Mary’s, which also includes her years as a volunteer working with Nursing Home Outreach and as a Eucharistic Minister. We wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors in North Carolina.

Dear Jesus, Help me to spread you everywhere I go. Flood my soul with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may be only a radiance of Yours. Shine through me and be so in me that every person I come in contact with will feel your presence in me. Let them look up and see, not only me, but also Jesus. Amen.
Joyous Time of Year
May the glory and the promise
of this joyous time of year bring peace
and happiness to you and those you hold most dear.
And may Christ, Our Risen Savior,
always be there by your side to bless you
most abundantly and be your loving guide.
