The team will now go on to represent the North West Province during the upcoming national championships to be held on 20-21 May 2016 in Johannesburg. The head-coach, Chris Seabelo, told the Plati- num Weekly that it’s thanks to the hard work of the students that they excel. “I have no doubt our team will make our Province very proud!” Mc Donald’s South Africa in partnership with the South African Schools Football Association (SASFA), on 7 April 2016 launched the 7th edition of the McDonald’s U/14 Schools League at the Nike Football Centre in Soweto. Previously, the provincial finals took place over a nine- week period but this year, the McDonald’s U/14 Schools League 2016 will now take place in a new “Soccer Festi- vals” format where provinces will travel to other provinces to play their provincial finals. • Bokamelo Kodisang (16), now playing for our local boys, the Platinum Stars, also played in the McDonald’s U/14 League in 2014. Left-wing Kodisang (from Rusten- burg) participated in the McDonald’s U/14 League, where he was scouted to become part of Dikwena’s team. He signed with Dikwena’s senior team on 1 July 2015. This young man has a bright future ahead of him, and is cur- rently in his matric year. Ready to represent the North West Province fltr: Shihan Chris Seabelo; Tebogo Motepe; Letlhogonolo Seabelo; Natasha Motale; Ayanda Majola; Puleng Kok and Kgotatso Motshelanoke.
