ANQAHE is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization

Established in June, 2007 It includes ten full and one

associated members which constitute 50% of the Arab countries

Accreditation or Auditing process in most of them include site visit by a review panel

Conflict of interest policies for reviewers is present in 59%

There is common misunderstanding of the concept of IQA

The culture is lacking Out of the 10 countries that have

EQAAs only one is in the process of implementing a system for IQA and EQA

Most EQAAs have a lot of information but might need more quality in documentation

Some of them include in their organization chart a unit for IQA but mostly non functioning

Most of the EQAAs are willing to develop a code of practice or a system for IQA
