black, is covered in tattoos and piercings andis extremely
introverted.But Rooney Mara couldn't have looked any more different
to her on-screen heroine as she arrived atthe UK premiere for The
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo tonight.Mara, who plays the moody
computer-hacker Lisbeth Salander, looked elegant and beautiful as
shedazzled on the red carpet outside the Odeon Leicester Square in

bun at the back of her head and she patiently stood for
theflashbulbs as an assistant fussed around below her, spreading
out thefishtail bottom of her dress.Mara previously explained her
transformation for the role, revealing she had her hair dyed and
cut,her eyebrows bleached, her lip, brow, nose,and nipple pierced,
along with her ears pierced several times.Partners-in-crime: Craig
was joined by co-star Rooney Mara, who plays hacker Lisbeth
Salander, atthe world premiere of the film last nightBlink and you
miss it: Craig did manage to flash a grin for the photographers as
he made his wayinside the cinemaShe said: 'I didn't even have
pierced ears. They put four holes in each ear, and, weirdly, that
hurt themost.'It was all very organised. With[director] David
[Fincher] everything is measured and carefullyconsidered. He wants
what he sees in his head.'The young actress was joined by
herco-star Daniel Craig, who plays journalist Mikael Blomkvist, and
lookedsmart and sexy in his black suit, although he barely managed
to raise asmile throughout the evening.But unlike his on-screen
sidekick,who was exposed to the cold London night, Craig, 43, kept
warm in athick black leather jacket as he posed for pictures with

the 2009 Swedish adaptation of the award-winning, critically
acclaimedMillennium books trilogy.The original starred Michael
Nyqvist, who plays Blomkvist, and Noomi Rapace, as Salander, and
wasmade into a trilogy and all three films were released within
