Deutronic have been manufactu-ring high-tech power supplies,

power supply systems, as well as test and measurement systems that have continuously set new standards for more than 30 years. The product range includes power supplies for industrial use, in the power range of 5 to 6000 Watt in varying housing versions (TS 35 DIN rail, open frame, encapsulated and 19“ modules). Our highly-versatile Deutronic plug-in and instrument program offer products in the power range from 5 to 250 Watt in different versions. Deutronic power supplies excel due to the following characte-ristics: short-circuit protection,

overload and over-voltage protec-tion, high interference immunity, high efficiency, compact design, coated components (module depen-dent) and active inrush current limitation.Our program is rounded off with an entire range of different power supply modules for printed circuit board mounting and screw fixing.

Our newest modules provide high performance of upto 1500 Watt and have DC-wide-range inputs upto 800 VDC. These modules are prefe-rably used in automotive or outdoor applications respectively in harsh industrial environments.

The ESM5 solar module with its integrated charger is used to trickle charge 12 V lead starter batteries.

Long standing times after production and during transport as well as the continually increasing standby current consumption of new vehicles often lead to a severe discharge of vehicle batteries.

The ESM5 solar battery maintenance system prohibits a too severe discharge of the battery, which leads to a noted increase in the battery-life. The current charging status of the battery is display on the ESM5 status LEDs at all times.

The E-BVI is used to indicate the battery charge status of 12 V lead starter batteries.

The E-BVI clearly and reliably indicates the actual battery status via a three-coloured, high intensity LED with a current consumption which is lower than the self-discharge current of vehicle batteries.

In the field of vehicle converters we offer an extremely wide spectrum

in both low voltage as well as high voltage equipment. Our units are therefore suitable for nearly all purposes. Using these converters we cover the voltage range from 12 Volt to 700 Volt on the input side and 12 Volt to 80 Volt on the output side. Our core competence covers a power range of up to 3 kW. To withstand harsh environmental and operating conditions the equipment is supplied in encapsulated form. Therefore they are especially

suitable for use in rough conditions such as on wind turbines, on logistic warehouse vehicles, railway applica-tions and E-vehicles.Additionally our converters are outstanding due to diverse custo-mer-specific, adaptive options including the inhibit function and various certifications (E1-ECE or similar).

The FZE (Research Centre for energy storage technology) founded in 2012 is successfully continuing the specialist research started by Deutronic more than 20 years ago.

Due to the increasing importance on the subject of energy storage, Deutronic has been investing since 2007 not only in the develop-ment of equipment itself, but at the same time in the creation of a battery laboratory to be able to systematically examine the behaviour of batteries and then using the acquired knowledge to optimise the operational management and especially the charging strategy in an application.

For an optimal operational management, it is imperative that a suitable condition-diagnosis of the storage medium is employed. An intensive scientific debate began on the subject of energy storage.
