Worksheets for learning letters (cursive): to Trace, Copy, Write from Memory, Write with Eyes Closed
Thanks to Ian Downing, UK
"I would like to add something to your site. I have made these worksheets which are based on a suggestion from Hickey's book about introducing new phonemes. The word .doc version can be edited
but you need a cursive font called "Boring Boring" installed on your machine."
font Boring Boring can be downloaded free from http://desktoppub.about.com/library/fonts/hs/uc_boringboring.htm
Each time students write the letter, they say the letter sound and name /i/ I /i/ I
1) Student traces over the letter on the top left2) then copies it in the box on the top right
fold the page in half3) Student writes the letter in the box on the bottom left from memory
4) then with eyes closed on the bottom right.
