2012 WEDNESDAY LUNCH MEETING ON THE 7TH NOVEMBER The Vice President of Shenandoah College spoke about a two to three year project of obtaining 30 Steinway Grand Pianos for Shenandoah University Conservatory. Each piano costs $60-85,000.00. The school decided to purchase the pianos to maintain a competitive edge with other schools. Shenandoah is ranks 3rd in the United States for its music department. It is a small private Methodist University. Members of the Music department and some of the Student went to New York and Germany the only 2 places in the world where Steinways are hand crafted. They hand picked the Pianos bought for the conservatory. SERVICE PROJECTS INCLUDE THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS BASKETS. A PICNIC SHELTER PROJECT. ALZHEIMER'S RESEARCH. BANGLADESH WATER AND SANITATION. 3. WE HAVE A BIRTHDAY CARD CONTEST. WHO EVER

PICKS OUT THE MOST INSULTING CARD WINS.

4. AND OF COURSE ICE CREAM CAKE.

5. BOB HAD STEAK. THE REST

OF US HAD PIZZA.

EVON WON THE FIRST TWO HANDS AND WE CAUGHT THE FAMOUS CELEBRATORY FIST PUMP ON FILM.

THE TRASH TALK WAS FLYING. GARY FIT RIGHT IN.

BIKE RIDE WITH KEN

Linda reconnected with life long friend Kathy Eiserman. They had not seen each other for 20 years.DOTTIE ANN DOLLS

WOMEN IN HER LIFE. KATHY

AND MOM WERE IN THE NIGHT OWLS QUILTING BEE

TOGETHER. KATHY’S MOTHER

BARBARA AND MY MOM WERE

CLOSE FRIENDS. THEY MET IN

THE WILSON APARTMENTS IN

ARLINGTON VA. THEY KEPT EACH OTHER SOMEWHAT

SANE WHILE TAKING CARE OF

ALL OF THE KIDS. EACH HAD 5

CHILDREN AT THAT TIME. WILSON EVICTED BOTH

FAMILIES FOR HAVING TO MANY KIDS. MOM HAD 2 MORE. BARB STOPPED!

Kenny cruises at about 17 to 25 miles and hour .It was a tough

12 mile ride for Linda. We rode part way up the back

side of Bull Run Mountain. Gary held his own pretty well.

Husband Howard. Howard is a retired Army Cornel. He now works with

computers.
