Boston Massacre 1770

•  In the winter of ______, a small group of colonists in Boston were taking out their frustration with the troops by taunting them and throwing __________, rocks, and sticks at them. In retaliation, these soldiers opened fire, killing four of the colonists.

Boston Tea Party 1773

•  The tax on tea that the British had passed greatly affected the tea business in the _________. The British also passed a law that exempt British companies from having to pay the tax. This meant that these companies could sell their tea _________, almost guaranteeing that companies based in the Americas would go out of business.
