The number of GOOSE commands is 4 for analog and 8 on digital transmission lines. For mixed simultaneous use of GOOSE and binary I/O the total number of commands is shared. GOOSE transmission requires substation planning with IEC 61850 conform tools (e.g. DIGSI) and the parameter download into each device (icd file).
