He will begin Monday, Oct. 3. Please pray for him as he gets settled into his new home here in Colonial Heights. Please make him feel welcome as he comes to begin a new phase of his ministry here at MPBC. O CTOBER 3 P ICKLE B ALL –Will no longer be meeting here at MPBC. They have moved to Swift Creek Baptist Church for their weekly session. Contact the City Recreational Dept. for more information. O CTOBER 4 C OMMUNITY N IGHT O UT 5- 7 pm. Come greet our neighbors from our surrounding neighborhood. Police and Fire Dept. will be there as well. Let’s help create a caring and strong neighborhood and share the love of Christ as well. O CTOBER 5 WEDNESDAY N IGHT A CTIVITIES Barnabas Ministry- Will resume in the Conf. Room at 9:30 am. Wednesday Night Suppers are back! Serving from 5:30 to 6:15 pm in the C.A.C. All regular Wednesday activities will begin at their new time of 6:30 p.m. Choir Rehearsal – 6:30 p.m. - Come preview the new Christmas musical. It’s a great time to join the choir. We will be taking an additional bus, if you would like to attend this trip! Plenty of room to take more. Payment must be received to secure space. O CTOBER 23 – B ALANCE DUE ON M YRTLE B EACH T RIP {T HE V ISION V IRGINIA S TATE M ISSIONS WEEK OF P RAYER } Has ended. OCTOBER  29–  CHRISTMAS  MUSICAL  CHOIR  REHEARSAL Saturday-10 am – 12 Noon in the Choir Room. OCTOBER  31  HALLOWEEN  NIGHT  –  TRUNK  OR  TREAT 6-8 pm.

Calling all seniors! We need your help. Candy, cakes, cupcakes and cookie donations needed. Also needed:

1. Volunteers to direct games for kids. 2. Car Trunks (must be decorated and provide candy for distribution.

Car trunks need to be in place by 5 p.m.) Location: Conduit Parking Lot next to buildings.

NOVEMBER  17  –  THANKSGIVING  DINNER  AT  NOTTAWAY    NOVEMBER  24 - THANKSGIVING  DAY – Church Office Closed. NOVEMBER  29-­‐  DECEMBER  1  –  CHRISTMAS  GETAWAY  TO  MYRTLE  BEACH  The trip has made! See the glorious Christmas extravaganza at the Carolina Opry and the Alabama Theatre. Trip includes dinner at the Chesapeake House and Thoroughbreds, 2 breakfasts at John’s Restaurant, shopping at Callahan’s of Calabash and Tanger Factory Outlet, ocean front rooms at Dayton House Resort for two nights. $100 deposit is due today. Balance due Oct. 23. Total cost is $302 per person/two persons per room or $367 for one person per room.
