Motets-a polyphonic choral composition on a sacred text usually without instrumental accompaniment.

Canzonettas-a part-song resembling but less elaborate than a madrigal.

Masses-a musical setting for the ordinary of the Mass.

Ballets-a theatrical art form using dancing, music, and scenery to convey a story, theme, or atmosphere.

Oratorios-a lengthy choral work usually of a religious nature consisting chiefly of recitatives, arias, and choruses without action or scenery.
