Many people find a2 Milk™ easier to digest, perfect if you have really pushed yourself.

After all, the thousands of runners who down pints of milk after finishing a marathon can’t all be wrong!

Dr Hilary Jones lovesa2 Milk™ and says...

“Milk is a daily essential for most athletes in training. Plus, it’s an

excellent post-exercise recovery food, as it has a balance of protein,

carbohydrates, water and micronutrients.”

Milk thatrehydrates

HERE’S WHY

Cows’ milk contains different types of protein – including ones called A1 and A2.*

Many years ago all cows naturally produced milk containing the A2 protein. However during domestication by humans, the A1 protein appeared and spread throughout herds in Europe and around the world.

Recent studies show that these two proteins digest quite differently from each other and for some people, the presence

of A1 protein can result in discomfort after drinking milk.

How can a2 Milk™ help? Our certified dairy cows are carefully selected because they naturally produce milk with only the A2 protein and no A1 protein. So you too can enjoy the nutritional benefits of milk.*

Dr Corran McLachlan

Back in 2000 in New Zealand, Dr Corran McLachlan discovered the impact of this difference in proteins and founded The a2 Milk Company™.

Milk isn’t just delicious and healthy - recent studies have

shown it’s an amazing recovery drink after exercise too!

*a2 Milk™ is not suitable for anyone medically diagnosed with lactose intolerance or a cows’ milk allergy. *A1 and A2 proteins refer to A1 and A2 beta casein protein.

scores with a2 Milk™

“Milk has always been a vital part of my training regime, but for some reason ordinary milk was making me feel lethargic and bloated. Since I discovered a2 Milk™ I have been feeling fantastic.

I know a2 Milk™ has become huge in Australia where it was initially launched and I once lived. I want to do the same here and help change the lives of kids and

adults who have had trouble with ordinary milk like me.

It has changed my life – I want to encourage others to try it for themselves.”

“Milk is such an important food - for growth, bone health and also for post-training recovery. If I hadn’t ditched ordinary milk and taken up a2 Milk™, I wouldn’t be feeling as good as I am today.”

DANNY CIPRIANI

“IF I HADN’T DITCHED ORDINARY MILK AND TAKEN UP a2 MILK™,

I WOULDN’T BE FEELING ASGOOD AS I AM TODAY.”

David Dunne lovesa2 Milk™ and says...“Milk has long been recognised as one of the most nutrient dense food sources in existence. It is a rich source of protein, an essential nutrient that supports growth, repair, hormone production, and many other biological processes. Milk is also high in calcium, which plays a key role bone health and well as physical growth and development

As a result milk often plays a key role in any athletes diet. However, despite not suffering from lactose intolerance, some athletes report feeling bloated or have an unsettled stomach after drinking milk. In these cases it can be worth trialing the athlete on a2 Milk™ to see if the reported issues clear. From my experience a2 Milk™ has helped a number of my athletes with these issues. It is worth noting that other diary products need to be restricted during this trial period as yoghurts and other A1 milk protein sources may interfere with the results.”
