Upon identifying ourselves to AARON LINAS outside of theresidence, he advised the Agents that he was aware of his rightsand not required to talk to us. The Agents and Investigator

[ jproceeded to the front entrance of the residence to talkto and lasked AARON LINAS -to come into the residence to talk to the Agents and InvestigatorI I

LINAS, [ and Investigator left theinterviewing room at the residence to discuss the nature of theinterview per request as he advised usthat AARON LINAS does not like officials of the Federal Government.As advised by Investigator I LINAS was asked if he knew b6who may have been responsible for the acts of vandalism that had b7Ctaken place and LINAS thought it could have been done by studentsfrom the VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY (VCU). LINAS alsoadvised Investigato orthat he had friends that go to VCUand that the students of VCU are very liberal.

LINAS advised he was aware of his rights and that it wasnot required for him to provide any information.

WHITTEN BROTHERS JEEP CHRYSLERSeptember 28, 2002

A promotional Jeep Liberty was vandalized using a pipeto dent the body and break all the windows in the vehicle. Theinterior leather seats were also slashed destroying the interior.A note was left on the windshield stating "SUV'S are killing theworld", and on the rear windows "Earth Liberation Front." Theestimated insurance claim cost was $15,000.

UNIVERSAL FORD VANDALISMSeptember 28, 2002

Approximately 25 vehicles were vandalized with the useof a cream called "Etching Cream" which was placed on the windowsand bodies of the vehicles. "Etching Cream" is used by artiststo make permanent marks in glass. In this instance, the creamcaused permanent window damage and body damage to the vehicles.Some of the vehicles were smeared with the cream spelling out thewords "ELF" and "SUV". Follow-up interviews with Universal Fordhave indicated the actual damage claimed by insurance to be justover $100,000.

October 6, 2002

1996 Toyota SUV had the rear window smashed out andseveral areas of the body sliced with an apparent axe. Leftinside the vehicle was a note stating the vehicle was damaged by b6the "Earth Liberation Front" (ELF). Estimated Damage Costs, b7C$12,000.

October 6, 2002

1995 Ford SUV had the left headlight and body damagedwith an sharp object, such as an axe, with a note left on thewindshield stating the vehicle was damaged by the "EarthLiberation Front" (ELF). Vehicle was damaged less than a blockfrom the above-mentioned vehicle and on the same evening.Estimated damage costs, $5,000.

EXCALIBER CONSTRUCTIONNovember 23, 2001

Five construction vehicles located at Lenox ForestDrive, Subdivision, Chesterfield County had electrical lines cut,dipsticks removed, transmission fluid drained and a substance wasput in the fuel tank. A construction laser was also destroyed.Estimated Damage Costs, $10,000.00

Linas was b6interviewed on December 11, 2002, in the presence of b7CLinas stated that he knew his rights and said that he did notwant to talk. He did tell a Henrico County Police Investigatorworking with Richmond that he thought someone at VCU was probablyresponsible for the vandalism. Linas also said that he hadfriends attending VCU. Linas has currently obtained an attorney.

UNIVERSAL FORD VANDALISMSeptember 28, 2002

Approximately 25 vehicles were vandalized with the useof a cream called "Etching Cream" which was placed on the windowsand bodies of the vehicles. "Etching Cream" is used by artiststo make permanent marks in glass. In this instance, the creamcaused permanent window damage and body damage to the vehicles.Some of the vehicles were smeared with the cream spelling out thewords "ELF" and "SUV". Follow-up interviews with Universal Fordhave indicated the actual damage claimed by insurance to be justover $100,000.

October 6, 2002

1996 Toyota SUV had the rear window smashed out andseveral areas of the body sliced with an apparent axe. Left b6inside the vehicle was a note stating the. vehicle was damaged by b7Cthe "Earth Liberation Front" (ELF). Estimated Damage Costs,$12,000.

1995 Ford SUV had the left headlight and body damagedwith an sharp object, such as an axe, with a note left on thewindshield stating the vehicle was damaged by the "EarthLiberation Front" (ELF). Vehicle was damaged less than a blockfrom the above-mentioned vehicle and on the same evening.Estimated damage costs, $5,000.

EXCALIBER CONSTRUCTIONNovember 23, 2001

Five construction vehicles located at Lenox ForestDrive, Subdivision, Chesterfield County had electrical lines cut,dipsticks removed, transmission fluid drained and a substance wasput in the fuel tank. A construction laser was also destroyed.Estimated Damage Costs, $10,000.00

He did tell a Henrico County Police Investigatorworking with Richmond that he thought someone at VCU was probablyresponsible for the vandalism. Linas also said that he hadfriends attending VCU. Linas has currently obtained an attorney.
