  • From Saul to Paul

  • Saul used was overly committed to his own convictions to the christians

    Saul consented and even carried out the persecutions against them

    He rushed to damascus with the intention of bringing christians to trial

  • As he journeyed, he approached Damascus

    Suddenly, a light from heaven flashed out from heaven. He fell to the ground and saul heard a voice Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?

  • He said Who are you lord?

    The reply was: I am Jesus whom you are persecuting; but rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do

    Saul found his faith in jesus and proclaimed jesus as the son of god

  • Saul was converted in Damascus and accepted by the apostles as a member of the jerusalem church (Renamed as Paul)

    Later in his life as a convert, he earned the title Apostle of the gentiles for he brought many gentile converts to the christian faith
