Attention all girls! Basketball is coming! Registration will take place
Monday, November 16th through Friday, November 20th. Cost: $55.00 paya-
ble online through Infinite Campus. First practice will be Monday, No-
vember 30th, 3:15-4:30 pm. Mr. Brand will be the coach.
We have several ways that you can help us raise money for our school.
They are easy to donate! We collect Box Tops and Labels for Education
from many of the products you use on a daily basis, Milk Caps for Mooola
from Longmont Dairy, and AmazonSmile, which is the same as ordering from
Amazon (more information in this Update).
NJHS will be selling Thank You Grams (Hand turkeys with a Starburst
attached) for students and staff to buy and send to other students and
staff members to show their gratitude and friendship. The cost is .50
per gram. They will be sold during lunches November 9th-13th. The
profits from the Thank You Grams will be donated to a local food
bank.
Please help us help those in need. We are holding a food drive during
the week of November 9th-13th. Any non perishable foods are welcome.
For every three cans that are donated, will earn you a Thank You
Gram! The food will be donated to a local food bank. We thank you in
advance for your generosity!
Attention all EMS students! Do you like trivia? Do you know random facts? Do you like to share random facts? Then maybe the EMS Brain Bowl is for you. We will meet every Tuesday starting November 10th from 3:10-4:00 p.m. in Mr. Brands room (D139). All grades are welcome and needed for a successful team. Please email Mr. Brand if you have any questions.
Going on a vacation or is your student attending a sports tournament for
several days? Have your student stop by the Main Office and pick up an Excused Absence Form. The student will take the form to each teacher so he/she can document the work that will need to be done during the absence. This form needs to be signed by the parent and then brought to the Main Office so a copy can be made for the Attendance Clerk.

Box Tops for education is a free way to earn money for the school for a variety of things needed (balls for the playground, etc.) for your students.
Clip and send in soon, first deadline for submission is October 29th. There will be another in the spring so keep saving the Box Tops over the holidays.
