About JETA GARDENS & JETA CARE The first of its kind in Australia and Malaysia Founder and Managing Director, Mr Tan Choe Lam found his passion in aged care after his father suffered a stroke in 1981, sowing the seed that would later sprout into the developments of the first culturally apt aged care & retirement resorts in Australia and Malaysia. Jeta Gardens is Australia’s first Asian focused ageing-in-place retirement resort that delivers a continuum of care from independent living houses, apartments to aged care. In 2010, 51 percent of the Australian operations was successfully acquired by KPJ Healthcare in preparation for Malaysia’s own development of a retirement resort in the near future. Jeta Care Group, opened in 2012, is Malaysia's first aged care centre designed and based on Australian Concepts and Confucianist values.

About JETA CARE Jeta Care Group is Malaysia's first aged care centre designed and based on Australian Concepts and Confucianist values. This 80-bed facility is fully accredited by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. The operation is managed by Australian expertise with a team of qualified care team consisting of qualified Registered nurses / carers /allied health & medical professionals. #1 Founder’s vision Mr. Choe Lam Tan found his passion in aged care after his father suffered a stroke in 1981, sowing the seed that would later sprout into the developments of the first culturally apt aged care & retirement resorts in Australia and Malaysia, and shortly in other parts of Asia Pacific Region. As Founding Director of facilities in Australia and Malaysia, he is well equipped with hands on experience in research / design / funding / construct / management & operation of Seniors Living Resorts. His passion & and in-depth knowledge on ageing issues of seniors, particularly those with the Chinese heritage will be educational & beneficial to the Chinese, other ethnic communities and the wider communities in general. His success in the creation of Jeta’s “4H” model in the design and operation of seniors living resorts is highly regarded in the industry and had also won him many prestigious awards including “Eldercare Facility of the Year 2013” & “Special Recognition in Dignified Ageing Initiatives” Awards at the 1st Eldercare Innovation Awards 2013, presented by the Ageing Asia Investment Forum 2013 in Singapore.
