Can't Get Enough Of
Our beauty habits evolve with time. Take a trip down makeup memory lane with me for a moment and consider this: the way you
applied Makeup in 2010 versus 2020 is vastly different, and it's likely making you feel all the feels. Thank heavens for progress and
embarrassing photos to show how far you've come. Every month, there appears to be a new beauty trend, but that
doesn't mean you should constantly follow it. Insider asked professional makeup artists about some of the most
popular looks they wish would disappear. Continue reading to find out what they had to say.
Don't Over Makeup Some makeup artists are utterly enamoured with the no-makeup appearance. By simply defining your features and integrating them into your skin tone, this minimal Makeup look is aimed to enhance your natural beauty. Milk Makeup is a well-known brand that arose from the no-makeup makeup movement. Within this trend, Glossier is undoubtedly the most famous brand. These brands have become favourites among cosmetic artists who want to discover how to achieve spectacular results using the least visible ingredients.
Bold Lips: The bold lips are a classic look that never dies to enhance the beauty, colour, and
refinement of any look you wear. They make their way onto every beauty list. You may achieve this striking style with any strong
colour and lip liner, but if you want to mimic the trendiest makeup artists of today, a bold,
red hue will never fail.
Neon Eyeliner Neon eyeliner is one of the most popular
styles resurfaced in recent months. These unexpected splashes of colour draw a lot of
attention to your eyes and depending on the hue you choose, they can look great
with your eye colour. They also allow you to make dramatic statements with your
cosmetics by adding an unexpected and striking burst of colour.
Lipsticks with a matte finish While matte lips have been around for a long
time, the glossy lip made a comeback this summer. However, for the fall and winter
seasons, many artists are opting for a matte lip. Perhaps the matte lip's muted tones will
become a staple of the winter look. Matte lips complement the previously mentioned no- makeup beauty trend since they provide a
splash of colour and surprise to an otherwise almost-bare face.
Makeup Looks with a Twist The mod eye style is a modern take on 1960s
Makeup that uses meticulously placed eyeliners and eye shadows to darken the entire outer rim of the eye and darker, or
merely striking, hues in creative ways to make the eyes pop. Some makeup artists draw lines
beneath the lower lash line to replicate or accentuate eyelashes. In contrast, others use white mascara to guarantee that eyelashes are not missed in otherwise dark or creative
eyeshadow looks.
Extreme winged eyeliner is another exciting trend that celebrity makeup artists have
appreciated lately. This style is one of the unique beauty secrets that every female should know. Exaggerated wings on the
corners of the eyes, with some even going so far as to cover the eyelid with black eyeliner completely and then dragging it out into a
wing. Your eyes are impossible to miss with this dark block of colour on your eyelids.
Lips and skin that are dewy Dewy skin isn't going anywhere! While dewy skin
and lips grew more popular earlier this year, it appears that makeup artists are ready to use dewy looks to combat dry, dull skin during the winter months. No highlighters are required to achieve dewy skin and lips. That's how well-
cared-for the skin is. This trend appears to have gained popularity alongside the most excellent
skincare product. It seems that we've finally arrived at a moment where everyone wants to
take care of their skin first.
Eyeshadow that hasn't been blended Models had eyelids—and even eyebrows—
covered in thick coatings of pigmented eyeshadow at New York Fashion Week and
around New York City this year, which drew a large crowd. While this may appear to be a
formula for disaster, many runway models wore stunning colour combinations, indicating that unblended eyeshadow has a place in today's
fashion world. This trend, in particular, appears to be reminding spectators that cosmetics
should be applied for fun—to express yourself rather than to hide up or adhere to the same
looks that others use every day.
Eyelids with a Golden Colour
Golden eyelids have been seen on a growing number of celebrities and models in recent months, as their makeup artists choose gold
tones. Gold is a colour that goes with any eye colour and adds a touch of radiance and
sparkle to make your eyes the brightest and most noticeable they can be.
These days, street brows are a popular trend that makeup artists keep coming back to. It is
how street brows are created to allow your brows to grow naturally and then brush them up with a brow gel to create bold and bushy brows. These provide a striking appearance that has a
significant impact on the form of your face. Having thicker, darker brows can narrow the face and emphasise your eyes. Street brows appear to be an extension of the no-made
cosmetic look in that they likewise put stress on your natural features.
