Sometimes, the group takes a field trip relating to a book or may watch a movie in- terpretation of a selection. Every at- tempt is made to get copies of the books through interlibrary loan. Books may also be found in paper- back at local bookstores includ- ing e Toadstool Bookshop. Oc- casionally, because of availability, dates of books to be discussed may be switched or substitutions made. Participants are asked to bring a question, comment or observation to the discussion. Participants take turns bringing light refreshments to share. ere are usually between eight and twelve attendees. Anyone is welcome to join in one or more discussion. Library Director Karen MacDon- ald purchases a copy of each selec- tion for the library collection.
