team sport with more than 250,000 playing every month the FA

The FA aims to make womens football the second most popular
team sport in the country by 2018 A 5 year plan has been unveiled
to capitalise on the popularity of Team GB womens football both
during and after the Olympics including additional investment and a
new commercial strategy Enhancements have been made to the Womens
Super League to include a second division from next season 4

We have over 140 girls training and playing weekly throughout
the season. In season 2014/15 we will enter 13 different teams in 3
leagues and our girls range from 4 to girls in the open age team.
We are a charter standard development club. Each team has at least
one FA Level 1 qualified coach, with significant commitment to
undertake further qualifications. We have a dedicated committee
including school liaison officers and child welfare officers.

Team for the first time. Opponents include Bolton, Blackburn,
Chester, Crewe, Morecambe, Preston North End & Wigan Area

Recognition in our regular weekly slot in the main match day

our sides get the opportunity to play a match on Turf Moor during
the half time break of a Burnley FC match; at least one of these
appearances will be held when the Sky TV cameras are televising the

Recognition in local footballing publications many of our girls
have appeared in One-two magazine. Appearances throughout
Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside both throughout the season
and during summer tournaments. In season 2012/13 we have had
tournaments successes at Bolton, Skelmersdale, Bispham and
Ramsbottom. 16
