Wisconsin Land Information Program Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP)(WLIP)

1989 – Act 31 passed enabling legislation developed and supported by WLIA enacted.– Act 31 established the Wisconsin Land Information

Program (WLIP) and set up the Wisconsin Land Information Board (WLIB) as the policy board to oversee the land record modernization program

1990 – WLIA found political acceptable funding source, using the recording fee as basis for funding the WLIP (Act 339 passed with bi-partisan support of legislators Joe Wineke and Robert Welch)
