Weather

• The weather is the state of the atmosphere at any given time.

• The weather is not just one thing, you have to think about:– How hot or cold it is– Whether it is raining– If the wind is blowing– How many clouds there are– What direction is the wind blowing from– How heavy the air feels.

Why do We Care About The Weather?

• The weather is what is happening outside

• We just need to look out of the window and see what is happening

• Why do we need to look into it so much?

• The following slide describes different jobs that depend on knowing more about the weather.
