About the Author

Isaac Asimov (1920-1992), an American biochemist and writer, born in the former USSR on January 2,1920 and then taken to the US at the age of 3 and grew up in Brooklyn, New York.

Isaac graduated from Columbia University in 1939, and got his Ph. D. in the same university in 1947. He taught biochemistry at Boston University, but he is most widely known for his science fiction.

Some of his best-known works are , Robot, published in 1950 and The Foundation Trilogy, published in 1951-1953.The magazine under his name Asimov Science-fiction is well know in the US.
