CBM PRAYERLINE Transition As Conrad and Fiona Kwok begin the countdown towards their move to ministry in Northern Thai-land, we ask you to pray for them in this time of transition. After all the goodbye parties at this end and the excitement of starting something new, there come the inevitable times of ques-tions and difficulties. Remembering that our ene-my is like a prowling lion, waiting to devour God’s people in their weakest moments, ask Him to keep His purposes and the ministry to which He has called them, in the forefront of their minds as such things as homesickness and fatigue creep into their lives.
Rwanda CBM Global Field Staff Bruno and Kathleen Soucy are requesting our prayers. Please pray for wisdom and strength to work as diligently and effectively as possible for their last few weeks in Rwanda, to leave programs and team members in the best possible condition to do well after the Soucys’ departure at the end of September.
Global As students and teachers around the world re-turn to their various places of learning, pray that each will show courtesy and goodwill towards the other, treating each other with dignity and re-spect. Pray especially for Christians, that they will find opportunities to witness to their faith in environments which are often hostile to their beliefs.
Today, September 8th
, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.
Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus as their Saviour is welcome to receive the cup and the bread. An offering will be received following the service, for our Benevolent Fund to assist those in need.
