One Table Two Chairs (1T2C) is a standardized set design in

traditional Chinese theatre.

Page 3: 1 t2c re

A different arrangement of One Table Two Chairs is symbolic

of a different scene.

Page 4: 1 t2c re

Grand Seat (大座), with the table in front a chair, suggest the

office of military general of high-ranking mandarin.

Page 5: 1 t2c re

Grand Seat in an oblique direction (斜場大座)

Page 6: 1 t2c re

Double Grand Seats (雙大座)

Page 7: 1 t2c re

Casual Seat (小座), with a chair in front of the table, may

suggest a lobby, or a small living room, among other scenes.

Page 8: 1 t2c re

Casual Seat with One Side Chair (一旁椅)

Page 9: 1 t2c re

Casual Seat with Two Side Chairs (二旁椅)

Page 10: 1 t2c re

Table put lengthwise with one chair at one side and another

on top (高台), symbolizes a high platform or a mountain.

Page 11: 1 t2c re

Table with a chair at each side aligned in a straight line,

symbolizes a bridge or a hill.

Page 12: 1 t2c re

One Table Two Chairs has been adopted by Danny Yung

since 1997 as a platform…

Page 13: 1 t2c re

… to initiate creative cross-region, cross-discipline and cross-

cultural dialogue, negotiation, critique and collaboration.
