(9) PONCHO(पािी बसाादी)
Details Specification
Outer Fabric Nylon 98% (±2)
Length 92" (±3)
Width 66" (±3)
Fabric Gore-Tex technology fabric or equivalent 3 layers
laminated, Breathable.Weight 190gsm (±5)
Colour Match PANTONE 19-4024 TPG
Features
OUTSIDE OF THE PONCHO:
All rainwear exteriors (also known as face
fabrics) are treated with a durable water
repellent (DWR) finish. Even rainwear
classified as water-resistant (which includes
soft shells) carries a DWR finish.
DWR affects only the exterior of rainwear
and is separate from a laminate or coating.
Its purpose is to protect the face fabric from
becoming saturated, weighing it down and
Page 15
causing any sensation of dampness.
DWR accomplishes this by causing water to
bead up and roll off the garment's exterior.
LaminatesThe core of a laminate is its
membrane. Membranes are made from:
Expanded (i.e., stretched)
polytetrafluoroethylene, or ePTFE
(sometimes also referred to as PTFE). Most
know it by its DuPont brand name: Teflon.
Polyurethane (PU) films.
Polyester films.
ePTFE ( As gortex this would be our
choice of the membrane)
Gore-Tex recognized laminates, use
membranes formed from ePTFE. An ePTFE
membrane has a microscopic web-like
structure that is amazingly thin—about 10
microns thick
In spite all these microscopic holes, ePTFE
is extremely resistant to water
Gore-Tex
Gore-Tex takes a plain (unguarded) ePTFE
membrane and attaches it to a superthin
protective polyurethane (PU) film, creating
what is known in the rainwear industry as a
bicomponent laminate. The PU layer is solid
(technically speaking, monolithic) and
shields the ePTFE from body oils and other
contaminants
Gore-Tex Performance Shell:3-layer
versions. Excellent waterproof performance;
good but not exceptional breathability
BASIC FEATURES
100% water proof with water repellant seals
throughout the joints. The purpose of DWR
finish: Allow a garment's face fabric to shed
water, prevent saturation and keep water
from sitting atop a WP/BR membrane.
Garments remain light when they avoid
becoming waterlogged.
Should be able to use as two-man shelter,
when two ponchos are joined together.
Page 16
Total 8 eyelets (size-1/2 inch)
Total 10 clip on button
Eyelets and clip-on bottom must be in equal
distance in every poncho, so that two
ponchos can be easily joined together to
make a two men shelter.
Eyelets must be made of stainless steel and
reinforced by the use of double fabric.
Sewing
All seams and stitching should be lock-
stitch.
Backstitched and lamination by three-layer
tape.
All seams and stitching should be properly
and securely sealed for no leakage. Similar
to our sample if not exact.
SEWING Thread
Material- Twisted soft multiple cords, low
elongation polyester thread made from
continuous filament polyester yarn. The
stitches must be strong enough to hold the
seams strength required.

How to Measure a Cap size
Just for information and outline
during booking process.
Step 1:
Use a tape measure to measure around your head:
- across your brow (approx. 1" above eye brows)
- slightly above your ears
- keeping the tape parallel to the floor
- this measurement is a "two-person" event and is nearly
impossible to accurately do by yourself
For best results, use a plastic/cloth tape measure.
Alternately, you may use a piece of string or cord and then
measure the length of the c
Step 2:
For female sizes, your head measurement in inches will be
your hat size. For male and generic sizes, divide the
measurement in inches by 3.14 to obtain your cap size,
rounding UP to the nearest 1/8".
OR
Use our sizing chart below
Head – Inches Cap Size
20 3/8" 6 1/2

Step 3:
Consider the shape of your head. Service caps are
preshaped to an average oval shape. If you have a
narrower or round head than "average", consider adjusting
up to the next higher size.
Upon receipt, your service cap should fit snug, but not too
tight. Notice that the cap is parallel to the ground and is
approximately one inch above the eye brows and ears.
