CLUSTERING OF PROJECT ENTRIES

CLUSTER 1CLUSTER 1 – Project entries of

students from the regular HS & private schools

CLUSTER 2CLUSTER 2 – Project entries of

students from special science high schools, S&T – oriented high schools, PSHS system and high schools under tertiary institutions.

Page 17: 1 intel philippine science fair (ipsf)2

CLASSIFICATION OF ENTRIES

For each cluster, there shall be two (2) divisions of the fair based on two major classifications namely, Fair 1: Life Sciences; and Fair 2: Physical and Applied Sciences.

For each fair division, specific disciplines are identified.

The project investigator must indicate the fair division and discipline for his / her project entry.

CATEGORIZATION OF ENTRIES

Individual ProjectIndividual Project – conducted by one student only in any of the identified disciplines under Life Sciences or Physical and Applied Sciences.

Team ProjectTeam Project – conducted by 2 or, at most, 3 students in any of the identified disciplines under Life Sciences or Physical and Applied Sciences. A team project with more than 3 members starting at the division level will be disqualified. Teams are enjoined to have 3 members even at the school level if they would like to participate in the IPSF.
