Collapse uterine balloon loosely around and over tip. Collapse vaginal balloon. NOTE: Stopcocks are open in pack- age, and should remain open to release air NOTE: In focal atony, fill volume may be less than in global atony NOTE: Use ultrasound during placement, fill, and confirmation of placement Close stopcocks. Use IV bag and spike or syringe and stopcocks. Fill incrementally until desired volume. NOTE: Max recommended fill volume is 750mL Cup uterine balloon and insert through dilat- ed cervix to fundus or thread through cervix to fundus. Keep fingertips at cervix while filling to ensure balloon stays in place and is not overfilled. 7 Deflate / Remove 6 Monitor Blood Loss Unlock slider by pushing thumb clamp button forward until “click”. Adjust to desired location. Lock by pushing down on thumb clamp button, then inflate. Open stopcocks to remove fluid slowly. Titrate according to hospital protocol.
