AFPS: Automatic Floor Pressurization System

This special application, which modulates the fan speed by means of a differential pressure sensor installed underneath the floor, detects any pressure drops caused by air leaks or by a floor panel being removed.

• Put the unit in stand-by and wait for the fans to stop;• From the main screen press the Prg key, select Service Menu and press Enter;• Type in the Service Password and press Enter to confirm;• Select Hardware Settings and press Enter to confirm;• Scroll through the screens by pressing the Down key until the screen for setting

the parameters appears (see the detailed masks below):

Air pressure transducer regulation maskRange Start: starting value of the transducerRange End: end value of the transducerRead value: reading taken by the sensorDelta: maximum variation which doesn’t activate the filterTime: duration of the filterValue: value read by the sensor

Evaporating fan regulation maskFan supply: fan power supply (Monophase / Triphase);Modulation with air pressure enabled: fan modulation activated by the air pressure transducer;Minimum speed: minimum evaporating fan speed during modulation;Maximum speed: maximum evaporating fan speed during modulation.

Evaporating fan regulation maskSetpoint: reference pressure value which needs to be maintained by the modulation of the fans;Dead Band: dead band regulation;Regul. Band: proportional regulation band;Integral Time: integral time;Derivat. Time: derivative time;Air pressure: reading taken by the sensor;Evaporating Fan: evaporating fan regulation percentage.

Alarm parameters maskAlarm Level: low air pressure alarm activation level;Alarm Delay: low air pressure alarm activation delay time.

After having set the parameters press the Escape key several times until the main screen appears; to memorise the data which has been entered, it is advisable to turn off the unit for several seconds and then turn it back on again.

If there are several units connected within a Lan network, it is possible to carry out fan speed modulation by using a local sensor or by calculating the average reading of all of the sensors which are connected and configured for each unit which is operating. This setting must be carried out in the Lan configuration mask for each single unit by carrying out the following procedure:•From the main screen press the Prg key, select Settings Menu and press Enter;•Insert the Password Settings and press Enter to confirm;•Select Lan Settings and press Enter to confirm;•Scroll through the screens by pressing the Down key until the mask concerning the parameters setting appears (see the detailed masks below):

Air pressure control configuration masksLocal Values: modulation of the fan speed is controlled by the pressure reading taken by the sensor on each single unit;Mean Values: modulation of the fan speed is controlled by the average pressure reading taken by the sensors on all of the units which are connected in a local network.
