First time users Need access to active email address at first

log in to validate account May need more than one session

Plan does not need to be completed in one session

Once a user account is created it can be accessed from any County-hosted site

Optional Verification of Submitted Plan

If verification email that online plan was received is desired:Send an email from the email address

used to submit the plan, along with your user name, to [email protected] requesting verification

Response via email within one (1) business day

Option 2:Those with Desktop software

For those with Maptitude’s desktop Redistricting software

From the Redistricting/Plan Utilities/Export Plan menu- export a binary file (*.bin).

Submit CD to CDR with *.bin file Item 9- summary narrative of

proposed plan

A narrative description of the proposed plan, preferably in 250 words or less. The narrative may include a description of how the plan complies with the General Instructions for Developing/ Submitting a Proposed Redistricting Plan in the Public Participation Plan.

Deadlines for Proposed Redistricting Plans

May 4- 5:00PM if you want CDR to review your proposal for requirement compliance.

May 18, 2011 5:00PM is final deadline to submit in hardcopy, online, or CD in order to be considered by the Redistricting Committee. Neither the County nor CDR is responsible for rejection

of proposals that are either not received by the deadline or are incomplete or that do not comply with the requirements listed in the public participation plan.

Don’t wait until the last minute, give yourself plenty of time and a buffer zone before the deadline.
