Connecting to a Projector via Video Cable

Overview This documentation will show how to connect a Tablet PC to the Epson 835p ceiling-mounted LCD projectors located in all 2006 construction classrooms throughout the building using the physical cable connection.

Connecting to a Projector via Video Cable (1/2)

1. Turn on Epson projector remote control by sliding slider switch to right of red Power button toward front of remote

2. Point remote at projector & push the red Power button

– The projector will beep– The status light on the projector will begin to flash green– The projector will display auto-setup on the screen

3. Wait for the projector to finish focusing before connecting the cable. (See next slide.)

4. Push the Comp1 source button on projector remote

5. Locate the cable with the Video plug& Audio plug:

6. Connect the Video connector to the monitor port

7. Connect the Audio plug to the headphone or speaker jack

8. As needed, hold Fn + press & release F4 to cycle through 4 output options:

9. As needed, adjust the Tablet PC & ceiling speaker volume.
