SSP:generate bill,ACR->SCP,bill->local bill center

SCP:control charge of SSP.

SMP:send charge management information to SCP, bill to

settlement center.

Settlement center: Result and Bill in different area

Billing center:user bill information.


Process of charge

According to service instruct, SCP decide to charge or not.

At the same time, SCP->SSP the information about charg

e, SSP receive and analyze the information, report the cha

rge information to SCP.


Functional Module

JF: Charge module of SCP realizes the function of charge.

There is a memory database in SCP which can meet the r

equirement of fee data query.

First in SMP db,

There are two part: Charge Process, CDRPack.

(1) Charge Process: the core of charge，many SIB s

end information through ChargeProcess ,query fee info

rmation,and get the result of query.

(2) Cdrpack:scp generate cdr

Charge advantage

ZXC10-IN charging module uses “Charging Plan” technolo

gy for call charging. Service logic or service logic instance

can optionally select or specify the charging plan number f

or IN call. The charging module charges calls as required i

n the charging plan. The design technology based on “Ch

arging Plan” provides multiple advantages to SCM chargin

g:


(1)IN service call processing is organically separated from

actual charging operations. Service call processing

concerns only the choice of the charging plan rather than

charging details, freeing the service call processing from

burden some charging processing operations.


(2)Separation of service call processing from actual charg

ing operations diversifies applications and charging option

s for service call. Service call and charging are coupled thr

ough “Charging Plan”, therefore, service call processing wi

ll not be affected when the charging flow changes.


(3)Charging processing plans for the calls can be flexibly s

et during service call processing. Different charging plans

can be selected for different stages of a call, and the same

charging plan can be used at different stages of the call.


(4)An independent charging module transfers charging

data between SCM and SMF and the charging data

covers the modification of charging rate and transfer of

bills. Meanwhile the modules related to service call

processing are mainly engaged in call processing.

Normally divided into local, national & international call,

has nothing to do with fee calculation.

(4) Time Discount

Period Discount: In ZXIN10 charging system, one day

is divided into different periods of time, different call

occurring in different periods of time could have

different favorable fee rate.

Every record covers starting time(Hour:Second), end

time and discount rate. Discount rate 100 means no

discount, 50 means “50% off”.

Step 1: set call type, fee item, charge type and time

discount, finish charge information matrix

Step 2: firstly set period of time discount, then set daily

discount, week discount and holiday discount. Finally,

form time discount with these three discount plans.

Step 3: set charged Area Code, local, national,

international group and respective charging information.
