CUT OFF DATE FOR AGE AND RELAXATION IN UPPERAGE LIMIT: Cut off date for determining the age will be 20/07/2013 i.e. the closing date of receiptof application.     Indian Union but does not include a person who has served in the Defence Security Corps, theGeneral Reserve Engineering Force, the Lok Sahayak Sena and the paramilitary forces; and vii) whohas retired from such service after earning his/her pension; this would also include persons who arereleased/retired at their own request but after having earned their pension; or who has been releasedfrom such service on medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond hiscontrol and awarded medical or other disability pension; or who has been released, otherwise thanon his own request, from such service as a result of reduction in establishment; or who has beenreleased from such service after completing the specific period of engagement, otherwise than at hisown request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, and hasbeen given a gratuity, and includes personnel of the Territorial Army, namely, pension holders ofcontinuous embodies service or broken spells of qualifying service; or personnel of the Army PostalService who are part of Regular Army and retired from the Army Postal Service without reversion totheir parent service with pension, or are released from the Army Postal Service on medical groundsattributable to or aggravated by military service or circumstances beyond their control and awardedmedical or other disability pension; or personnel, who were on deputation in Army Postal Service formore than six months prior to the 14th April, 1987; or Gallantry award winners of the Armed forcesincluding personnel of Territorial Army; or Ex-recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground andgranted medical disability pension. 6.
