OPERATION NEXT GENERATION JUNE 3-8, 2012

This is an exciting educational opportunity for travel to Washington D.C. To attend a weeklong event centered around our government. This program is for students who are dependents of Active Duty members stationed in San Antonio and who are currently in the 11th grade.The Deloitte Consulting Firm would like to sponsor 10 students from our area for the program with a partial scholarship.

Scholarship Info:To qualify for a Operation Next Generation Scholarship, student must:1) have a parent that is active duty military;2) be in the 11th grade; 3) have an interest in learning more about the college application process; 4) complete the Operation Next Generation Application.

Students who receive Operation Next Generation scholarships are expected to participate in a mentoring program and/or various events and activities related to Operation Next Generation throughout the course of 2012

Applications and complete information is located in the Front office. HURRY time is limited if you are interestedIn this opportunity.

Texas Christian University

Camp College is a 4-day “boot camp” for soon to be juniors and seniors. Students will be able to:•Identify schools that match your interests and needs•Write an application essay and create a resume•Navigate the financial aid maze•Learn tips, techniques, and strategies for ACT/SAT•Attend college presentations and college fair.

Blood Drive

• Our next blood drive is Tuesday March 6th

• You must be 16 with parents consent and weigh 120lbs Or 17 and weigh 110lbs

• The money we are collecting helps fund research for blood cancers like leukemia

• Last year Clemens raised over $1200 lets try to beat last years amount, So far we have collected about $100

• Every penny counts – drop your pennies in a box in your classroom or the front office
